TITLE: Pipefitter II

JOB DUTIES / GENERAL REQUIREMENTS:
This position is synonymous with an "Apprentice" position in the trades. This position has 3 or more years of experience and is considered to have in-depth knowledge of piping and wet side HVAC applications but still requires some assistance. The Pipefitter II repairs and replaces piping systems, pipe supports and equipment for heating/cooling commercial and industrial applications and is supervised by a Pipefitter III or above.

• In-depth knowledge of piping and wet-side HVAC applications.
• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain HVAC piping systems.
• Repair and replace piping systems, pipe supports, and equipment for heating/cooling commercial and industrial applications.
• Document work by completing paperwork and backup documentation.
• Must have 3 to 5 years' experience.
• Uphold high standards of safety at all times.
• Work to increase personal growth and knowledge of wet-side HVAC applications.
• Effective communicator with customers and management.
• Self-starter, high energy level.
• Requires the ability to lift heavy objects, frequent bending and lifting, standing and walking over uneven terrain or in confined spaces, and safely climb ladders.

THIS IS A SAFETY SENSITIVE POSITION.

Pay Range: $20 - $24 per hour
