At Chatterbox Speech and Language Clinic, we are dedicated to providing exceptional speech and language therapy services to children and adults in a supportive, client-centered environment. Our team of licensed professionals works closely with families and caregivers to promote communication, confidence, and success. We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Data Entry Clerk to support our administrative operations.
The Data Entry Clerk will be responsible for accurately entering and updating patient and administrative information into our electronic systems. This role plays a critical part in maintaining the integrity of clinic records and ensuring smooth daily operations.
Accurately input patient data into electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Update and maintain existing records with current information
Review data for errors, inconsistencies, or incomplete information and follow up to resolve discrepancies
Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and clinic privacy policies
Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing paper and digital documents
Generate reports and retrieve data as requested by staff and clinicians
Provide general administrative support to the front office as needed
High school diploma or equivalent (required)
Previous experience in a data entry or administrative role preferred
Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
Proficient in typing and using computer systems (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, etc.)
Experience with EMR systems or healthcare data entry is an asset
Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines
Strong organizational and communication skills
Respect for patient confidentiality and privacy standards
Office environment within a busy clinical setting
May require extended periods of sitting and computer use
Occasional interaction with patients and families
