Overview:
We are seeking a licensed Telehealth Nurse based in New York to evaluate patient conditions and write letters of medical necessity. This is a contract, remote, asynchronous position offering flexible work hours and compensation based on output.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Evaluations:
Conduct thorough assessments of patient conditions via telehealth consultations, ensuring a comprehensive review of medical history and current symptoms.
Documentation:
Prepare detailed, accurate letters of medical necessity based on patient evaluations, ensuring compliance with relevant state and insurance requirements.
Collaboration:
Work independently while maintaining clear communication with the broader healthcare team, as needed, to ensure high-quality patient care and proper documentation.
Compliance:
Ensure all evaluations and documentation adhere to New York state regulations and best practices, maintaining patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
Qualifications:
Must reside in New York State.
Current and valid New York nursing license.
Proven experience in telehealth or remote patient evaluation preferred.
Strong written communication skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in an asynchronous work environment.
Compensation:
This is a flexible, contract-based role where payment is based on output. You will be paid $10 per letter of medical necessity written, with flexible working hours based on your availability.
