NestGuard Exterminating is seeking a skilled and reliable Pest Control Technician to join our awesome team. We are not your ordinary pest control company and are looking for the best of the best! We will take great care of you so you can take great care of our clients.

The technician will be responsible for identifying, inspecting, and controlling pests in residential and commercial environments. The role will require the use of specialized equipment, safe handling of chemicals and pesticides, and knowledge of effective pest control techniques.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify pest problems
• Develop and implement pest control plans, including the selection and application of appropriate pesticides and other control measures
• Maintain accurate records of all pest control activities, including inspections, treatments, and customer communications
• Communicate with customers about pest problems, recommended treatments, and preventative measures
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pest control techniques and regulations
• Comply with all safety and environmental regulations, including the proper handling and disposal of pesticides and other chemicals
• Provide excellent customer service by responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner
• Work independently or as part of a team to achieve pest control goals and meet customer needs
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Certification or license in pest control preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of pests and pest control techniques
• Ability to use and maintain pest control equipment and devices
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as well as in crawlspaces
• Ability to work in various weather conditions

Salary: From $35,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• No nights

 

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay

 

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Hampton Roads, VA: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

 

License/Certification:

• Driver's License (Required)
