Job Title: Temporary Contracts Counsel

Location: Hybrid – Durham, NC (2-3 days/week onsite)

Pay Range: $50–$70/hour

Job Type: Long-Term Contract | Full-Time | W2

Overview:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a skilled and experienced Contracts Counsel to support a dynamic, multi-entity organization. This long-term contract role offers the potential to convert to a permanent position (though not guaranteed) and is ideal for an attorney with strong in-house experience in commercial contracts and corporate governance.

Key Responsibilities:

The Contracts Counsel will handle a broad range of agreements including NDAs, independent contractor agreements, government contracts, software and hardware agreements, and master distributor agreements. The ideal candidate will have recent in-house experience and a background in technology or medical device companies, particularly those offering integrated hardware and software solutions (SaaS/HaaS).

Qualifications:

• Minimum 4 years of recent in-house commercial contracts experience
• Strong corporate governance and generalist legal background
• 2+ years of experience with SaaS and HaaS agreements
• Active US law license (any state)
• Must be based in North Carolina, commutability to Durham highly preferred
• Must pass an extensive background check post-offer (2–3 weeks processing time)

Work Arrangement:

• Hybrid (2-3 days/week onsite in Durham), but highly qualified remote candidates located in North Carolina will be considered.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $70.00 per hour
