JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking contract professionals for Gas & Chemical Technician roles supporting Client. This is a challenging, hands-on opportunity for individuals interested in working in a high-tech semiconductor manufacturing environment. Technicians will play a critical role in maintaining the safe supply of chemicals and gases essential to the production of electronic devices such as smartphones, LEDs, and flat-screen TVs. This contract position provides on-the-job training and the potential for permanent conversion based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle and change-out of gas, chemical, and slurry containers.
• Troubleshoot and perform preventative/repair maintenance on gas and chemical equipment.
• Operate computer systems to support job functions and customer requirements.
• Support and adhere to quality systems and safety protocols.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in maintenance, equipment technician roles, or mechanical/electronic environments.
• Familiarity with chemical and gas distribution equipment.
• Military training is welcomed.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.  

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Occasional climbing of ladders with fall protection.
• Ability to wear a Site Supplied Contained Breathing Air Respirator for limited periods (10–15 minutes).
• Bending of knees and overhead reaching.
• Use of PPE including safety glasses, hard hats, earplugs, chemical aprons, and gloves (safety boots required and provided via voucher).
