Base pay range

$34.00/hr - $35.00/hr

This position is in search of a skilled Part 107 certified operator with extensive experience operating drones via Remote Control. The qualified candidate will act as an operations specialist assisting in the development and testing of cutting-edge safetyrelated technologies. The role includes mission planning and lightweight maintenance duties. The candidate should demonstrate attention to detail, a safetyoriented attitude, flexibility, and enthusiasm for cuttingedge technology. This individual will also conduct limited operation readiness activities and logistics planning as needed. The role will also require crossteam training to support teams such as (but not limited to) delivery sites for prelaunch tasks. The candidate will join a Research and Development team working on inventing and developing new transformative experiences.

Requirements

• 2+ years of RemoteControl pilot experience with excellent coordination and execution
• Employees must, with or without reasonable accommodation, be able to lift to 50 pounds on some occasions, stand/walk for up to 8-10 hours (with breaks), and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach.
• Experience leading small teams
• Travel up to 75% of the year
• Valid Driver's License
• Work in volatile weather conditions (heat, rain, wind, snow) all within the established safety thresholds
• Drive to offsite work locations daily (work vehicle will be provided)
• Work variable shifts and schedules including weekends when applicable.
• Overtime may be required and approved based off work assignment.

Shift/Hours

• Can possibly start as early as 3 am and end as late as midnight
• Possible weekends especially if traveling
• 5 days a week - currently crews start at 1:00pm, and end at 8:30pm but this can change
• 8hour shifts

Preferred Skills

• Experience with commercial UAS industry
• Aviation safety experience as a Safety Officer or similar
• Excellent business communications and reporting skills
• Part 107 license needed

Degree or Certification

• Bachelor's (preferred, but not required)
