About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Marketing Officer to spearhead the global marketing team and drive the strategic growth of the business. The successful candidate will be tasked with developing and implementing comprehensive marketing strategies that align with the company's vision, enhancing the brand across all platforms, and building a consumer content strategy that fuels commerce models. This role requires a leader with a strong background in consumer products, omnichannel retail, and a passion for innovative marketing, particularly in the context of the company's unique content-centric value proposition. The CMO will be responsible for managing a global team, ensuring cohesive execution of marketing campaigns, and fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and innovation. Applicants for the Chief Marketing Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 15 years' experience in marketing, with a proven track record in successful go-to-market strategies for consumer goods. A leadership role in a global brand for at least 5 years is preferred, with a focus on family and kids' marketing experience. The role demands strong expertise in various marketing disciplines, including brand development, product marketing, growth marketing, and social marketing. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker, adept at interpreting complex data, and capable of translating insights into actionable strategies. Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential, as is the ability to inspire and influence at all levels of the organization. A Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field is required, with an MBA being a plus.
